Art and Design Teacher Education and Pedagogy CWG (AADTE)

Upcoming meeting:
AADTE meets online on Thursday 27 August, 11 am – 1 pm CET

As you know Cumulus Rome Conference is postponed to the summer 2021 and we will have no f2f meeting of our AADTE Cumulus Working Group until then. Manifestly we are facing and creating a new normal with diverse novel modes of interaction and collaboration.

This is a great change to reimagine, co-create and explore future proof and relevant working methods in our AADTE CWG, and make our collaboration more vivid and deeper.

The participants are invited to share their experiences and existing innovations of distant learning and teaching and any other relevant topics in art and design education and pedagogy.

The online meetings will include short presentations and introductions and group discussions.
If you are interested in sharing your experiences, good practices or innovations under the kick-off meeting theme, please submit your proposal to Martti Raevaara via email (martti.raevaara@aalto.fi) It would be nice to get a title and in a nut shell some points of the content, 3 key words minimum. Martti will schedule the programme for the online meeting. Introductions or presentations should be max. 5-10 min. The presentation may include slides, videos or any other documents on your desktop via Zoom screen sharing.

Please feel warmly welcome to the AADTE CWG online meeting even without a presentation. As well, please feel free to tell your needs and ideas of relevant contents for the online meeting. For idea sharing you can use our new Facebook group or contact Martti or Andreas or Minna via email.

Slides from the first AADTE CWG online meeting on Wed 17th June at 11-13 CET can be downloaded.

We launched a Facebook page – Cumulus AADTE Working Group – to support our further collaboration. Please join the Facebook group: https://www.facebook.com/groups/330037041297733/ and invite also other members to AADTE CWG on Facebook.

Please feel warmly welcome to the AADTE Working Group meeting.
