Karin de Jonge

Born in The Netherlands and studied Fine Art at the Willem de Kooning Academy, Rotterdam. As a visual artist her work has been awarded twice. Over time she added art education to her curriculum and studied History of Modern Art and World Art Studies at the Faculty of Humanities, Leiden University.

For over 15 years she has been involved in teaching art theory at the Willem de Kooning Academy and has guided groups at the Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.

Occasionally Karin has been invited to present a key-note lecture in museums and Universities.

Karin enjoys visiting art exhibitions, theatre and cinema, traveling, drawing, painting and practising modern dance. She likes to cycle around Rotterdam.
